Eye is on the Sparrow

My thanks for 2009:

* My daughter, Sarah, rousing me from disappointment with my memoir workshop and insisting I go through the process of contacting senior centers again, netting me three new bookings!
* My mother, Nancy, for believing in me at highly intense times and saying or showing such in miraculous ways.
* Nature and light.
* Pennies found all over the streets and inside rooms, reminding me that spiritual abundance and help is everywhere.
* Six months spent with my daughter, Leila, that will be a good memory, even in the lean days.
* The calm of trust that took me so long to acquire.
* Blessed hours spent in reading and meditating.
* Walks to the Promenade.
* Reconnecting with my sister, Sandy.
* Making friends with forgiveness.
* Natalie reminding us that encouragement and support is vital to success.
* Learning I can have whatever I need - I am the only one not giving it to me!
* Chris for picking my resume and believing in me and giving me a paycheck at a critical time.
* Becoming healthy in my eating ways again, thanks to Sarah and Leila.
* Breaking up with sugar.
* Jogging over the Gowanus Canal.
* Receiving a BlackBerry for my birthday (thank you Leila and Natalie!)
* Secret blessings that astounded me!
* Grace.
* Wisdom.
* Love.
